New Patch: 0.3.3.2
Hello dreamers, it's me again.
Turns out the discord link in our game broke, required a new build, figured I might as well make it a bit of a patch. I've been listening to your feedback, been scouting for bugs, and made some changes based on all of this! Some additional feedback I've been given over the last few days is already being implemented in my main branch for the steam demo, I didn't want to risk any weird conflicts through using this sidebranch to update the Itch demo so uhh, you'll have to wait for that. ANYWAY. Here's the patch notes:
UPDATE HOTFIX 0.3.3.3:
- Fixed an issue were audio would start stacking after going back to the main menu
- Made the Up/Down arrows on the Lucidity selection visibly enabled/disabled (had some clarity issues on why the buttons didn't seem to respond!)
Fragment Updates
- Pet Sanctuary no longer grants bond value to all adjacent bond pets. Turns out it's already pretty strong as it is! I'll make sure to add a new bond-buffing support card for the full game, I've got your back, bond enjoyers!
- Death of a Pet now has new art! Courtesy of AvisRaven!
- Cozy Bed stability gains lowered to 10 from 12.
- Chrono Trickster instability gains lowered to -4 from -6.
- Chrime of Clarity stability gains increased to 6 from 4.
- Moonhowl Beacon stability gains increased to 2 from 0.
Quality Of Life
- Unlocking Dream Spaces, or removing fragments from your bag, in the shop no longer directly brings you back to the shop. Only if you can't afford the next unlock/fragment removal will it bring you back. Otherwise, feel free to go on a removal / unlocking streak!
Additional Changes
- Added more visual clarity to the Core Memory (the win condition fragment). Hopefully it now stands out as a unique fragment. More improvements will be made for the steam demo / full game!
- Renamed the keyword for Core Memory to a direct phrase "Win Condition".
- Changed default animation speed.
- Main, settings menu, and fragment list opening/closing are now affected by your animation speed settings.
- Placed the "show/hide" button during pickdraw to a more visible location.
Bugs Squashed
- Broken Discord link should now bring you to our discord again, yay!
- Hovering over fragments to see tooltips during a pickdraw sequence now works again.
- A slight delay has been added to opening tooltips upon hover-over, to avoid tooltips flashing when accidentally hovering over an animated card (HUGE)
- Fixed a visual glitch where the visual stability bar would visually break for one round if a turtle king visually and effectively negated two nightmares at once. (Visual bug).
- When going back to the main menu during nightmare drawing/spawning, the next played game in the same session sometimes gets bugged. Added additional logging and a POTENTIAL fix. In case it does happen again, the extra logging should help further improvements on this.
Welp, expect a final quality of life/bugfix patch for the itch demo just before Christmas, after that... it'll be waiting time for the Steam demo! Thank you all for dreaming with us, see you soon (imagine a salute emoji here)
